MAKING A FIRE |
Well you're not going to get warm doing nothing, how about we make a fire with friction! |
Well what is Friction first off. Friction is the resistance that an object encounters when moving over a surface or other object. There are different frictions in Physics but let's just stick to making a fire. | |
You won't get your fire by just rubbing sticks together. The method here is called the Bow Drill method. This method causes a lot of friction which in return creates heat. The heat causes embers to occur which light the debris and begins the fire. (Click image to enlarge) |
